Default Transmission Problem

Last time I drove my car I had to stop at the security gate at where I live... And the car acted like I forgot to push in the clutch.... thing is a automatic... Whats up with that.... Then this morning (36 degrees) it was having a hard time sifting gears... Not slipping just wont shift up to the next gear...... after a few miles it was OK... I was going to just go with it being cold... But decided to post and see what you all think...

Check fluid level at normal operating temp, level and engine running. Replace fluid if not Cherry red in color. Low or old fluid can cause this problem and this condition can get worse in the cold.

rjs, don't bother wit the fluids, the tranny is on the way out...
1200 bux or less is the going price...R & R, overhaul...updates included, may want to get a shift kit installed, and a dedicated cooler....
