how are the door panels attached on a '78? Any of the plastic thingies??

I just looked at mine and it looks like just 7 screws.

You probably have a hidden Screw or two in the Carpet that near the bottom.

Been there...done this this evening actually!

There are 2 screws hidden in the carpet- one is hiding behind the map pocket flap and the other is on the opposite side of the panel. Another one at the very top of the door panel- directly above the outer door handle. The armrest has 3 and one around the door latch bezel and you will need to remove the door lock tip (that is inside the arm rest. After you get them out simply lift the panel up and disconnect the power lock switch and you are good to go!

Default Door Panel (78) Screw Location

Hi - Does anyone have a diagram or an exploded view of this? I am having a heck of a time trying to figure out where the screw holes should be on my New Door Panels and I don't want to poke them through the wrong places.... Only get one shot at this
