That does look really good!!!!!!!!!! Great choice in wheels tires, flares and the wing!
I really have given this ''Project'' ALOT of thought! I am just glad that the car is turning out like the pic I have had in my brain!

You may have posted before, but what color are you gonna paint her?
Tuxedo BLACK! with maybe a few graphics in yellow! haven't decided for sure on that yet!
but will definitely have a ''ROSE'' somewhere! :D

I sure wish my wife cared about Vettes as much as you. :D

oh gee! :bb now ya dun gone and made me blush!!!!!!!!

I think it'll work well with your flares, front spoiler etc. Don't think it'd look good on a '70 though. ;)

Hmmmmmm....well I suppose ''we'' could always give it a shot and find out!
but I have found that ''MY'' ideas aren't the same as most peoples!
I definitely am an ''ORIGINAL''! :D

lookin good. Have never seen many flares on later C3s and have always been curious. Can't
wait to see it finished!
-terry
I had to have the flares for the tires/wheels I wanted...but I DO like the look and I like even even BETTER now that they are ON the car! :)

That's the only wing I've seen that I've liked on a C3 !! Wonder how it would look with my SA... hmm...

After smoothing out the wing and flares, what else besides paint are you going to do? It looks like you are getting close to completion on the exerior of you car.

What size are your rims in the rear? The flares seem to be a perfect fit.

This ''wing'' was MADE for a C3! I looked at alot of spoilers but this wing really caught my eye and the only place I have seen it is at Vanacors.

I am going to change the rear piece as well..I ''found'' one that is a replica of the ZR-1 that is made to fit the C3..will bolt right on..I figured with going BIG on the rear might as well go ''all the way''! will have the ''C4'' tail-lights as well. Think it will really compliment the rest of the car.
I have been ''tossing'' around the idea of those door skins that have the ''Testerosa''(SP???) style louvers...BUT........not sure whether I really want them...will have to see how it looks after I get the tail on. I would like to get side pipes as well..but THAT is further down the road.

I figure it SHOULD be painted by Labor Day *fingercrossed!*:)

They are 11x17..Had to have them Custom made to get the back spacing I wanted.
I wouldn't recommend them if you plan on doing any racing or auto-crossing.

Hubby and I did some intense math to get this figured out just right...I am happy to say that it worked out great! :)

Is this the same rear end that "Fauxrs" has on his vette?

I bought the same wing at the Houston Vette show. Question for you. How did you figure out wher to drill the holes for the bolts? And did yo mount the wing from the ground or on a lift?

Actually that is 2 questions :)
I didn't ..Hubby did!! he is a good one for measuring ..then measuring again....and then measuring again!!!!!
(that is one reason my ''gills'' look perfect. He musta measured for those about a hundred times before the first cut was made!)

NO lift...did it in our carport!! did it from underneath...good thing to have LONG arms! ya have to stretch alittle! :)

That looks like the wing I had on my old 79, God rest her sole
It sure does look like the same one.

Funny how you never noticed things till YOU do/have them yourself!
