door lock/alarm trouble
I've got a buddy at work with a 82. He thinks his alarm is disableing his door locks and at times he can't get in or out of his car. Last time he locked the doors set the alarm and returned later..he couldn't get either door open. Had to break into his own car and unhook the battery to reset the alarm. I thought that the locks were machanically attached and even if the alarm was set it would still open the latch. Is the alarm on a 82 different than a 79
