Default Special parts wanted!

I'm planning the rebuild of my chassis (I'm doing a frame-off restoration on my 69' Vette).

It's a custom project so I’ve already bought : C5 Z06 calipers, Steeroids, Sharkbite front and rear coilover kit with QA1 shocks, speed direct upper aluminium tubular control arms, 20” Torque Thrust rims.

I’m looking for other special parts to complete the set up. I’d like aluminium hubs, spindles, steering knuckles, halfshafts and driveshaft also lower control arms for lightweight and much performance.

I live in Italy and here we have few modified Vettes so it's quite difficult for me understand which components fits together wo problems

Any suggestion?

If you're interested in lighter weight aluminum suspension components, have you considered using C4 or C5 parts? I put a C4 suspension under my '69, and took about 140 pounds off the car, with much of it unsprung weight. It takes work, but the handling results (and the looks) are well worth it.

Good luck in what ever direction you go, and please post pictures of your progress.

Are all C4 suspoension parts made of aluminium ?
What kind of modifications they need to fit properly on a C3 ?
What parts did you changed exactly?

What kind of modifications they need to fit properly on a C3 ? Depends on if you want the C3 or C4 trackwidth. The C3 trackwidth is much more labor intensive to modify and install. The stock C4 trackwidth conversion is easier to install, but then you can't use stock C3 wheels. I went the C3 trackwidth route as I wanted the car to look stock.

I changed everything except the iron C3 differential, which I kept due to strength and availability reasons.

I suppose that C4 track width is bigger than C3, right?
So if I'll go with C4 suspensions without modifications I have to use fender flares or rims with a different backspace?

Can you give me a link for a C4 suspension parts vendor?

Tha last question about the differential...the iron case/end cover are very heavy Does someone make this parts in aluminium?

Thank's for the nice link

Are aluminium half shafts enough strong for a 500 hp engine?
