Default Tire question for 1980 vette.

hi guys.

preforming a resto on a 1980 L82 and looking into tires for it. was hoping to be original and get my hands on the goodyear GT radial or eagle GTII in 255/60/15. what do you guys think? is there a better brand or better sizing?

thanks.

For many years the choice was BFG T/A in 255/60/15. Now, do a search on Firestone.

I put a new set of 255/60R15's on my 71. Motor not back in yet but I believe they will do great. I been selling/using Eagles for 30 years so I am biased

I recommend you check out TireRack.com. They have ratings and owner comments.

I have had a few different brands of tires on my 82 but this time I put Firestone Indy 500's on it. Best performing tire I have had on my car so far.
