LED light difference question
What is the differince between SMD LED lights vs some of the other types of LED light forum members have been installing in their dash. I purchased some plug in SMD LED lights from 07silvervette17 and they are not bright. I did get power to my guage cluster (red LED lights installed) and they are not bright. I will attempt to post pics for all to see while I continue to figure why my dash lights won't light up.

SMTs (surface mount technology) are the best and SMDs (surface mount diodes) are absolutely fine (lower amps). I have some SMDs in my dash, but mostly the old pin type (even worse). Your SMDs are brighter and have better coverage, but it doesn't matter behind the dash. All the light you see is reflected and nothing I've tried has looked stunning.
