Need help locating a part???(Heat riser)

Well while installing my exhaust today..I broke the little clip that holds the rod from the vacuum to the pivot ball on the heat riser......In other words if you follow the rod down to the heat riser there is a metal clip that keeps the heat riser linkage from poping off the rod..Anyone have any idea where I can order a new or used one..Any help would be appreciated..Thanks

GM dealers have bulk supplies of these; $0.50.

Unfortunately I do not have a GM part number. They are bulk parts. Muffler shops have them also. Just a GM heat riser component.

I have gone to several chevy dealers as well as 3 muffler shops...The counter guys at the dealer tell me the same thing...NOT AVAILABLE.....The muffler shops couldn't help me at all.....So hear is my plea...Has anyone removed the heat riser and is willing to sell me that clip that holds the rod to the riser .. I would be in indebted....Thanks

I removed my exhuast last summer. I will look for the clip tonight. If I have you can have the clip.. Should be able to mail it. I will let you know late tonight or tomorrow morning.
