My GMC Siera lost a fuel pump just outside of Baker, so I arrived in Vegas this year in a brand new $200,000 tow truck. The fuel pump cost me $830 installed. A much smaller show this year. Not a single C3 to be found anywhere. A few C1s and C2s, and a bunch of C5s and C6s. The C1s and C2s had LS engines and late suspensions. They should have called this years SEMA the Camaro and Mustang show. Lots of early Camaros with LS engines. Lots of talk from the Cam manufacturers about the loss of certain additives in motor oil later this year. I guess some more cam lobes will be wiped. It's always fun going to SEMA. Awesome cars, pretty ladies, and Vegas Baby. Hope to see C3s there next year.

Great pictures, BJ. You're singing my song... not to take anything away from any of those fine lookin' wimmen but that cute brunette with the purple dress: my-my-my. What a lovely example of gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing. (too bad about the Sierra's fuel delivery issues but glad you arrived in your usual style, albeit a new tow truck!)
Thanks for the pics Bee Jay. I would love to make this show sometime.
Can the general public come to the show or is this not open to the public?
It's not open to the public, but just find a local automotive vendor and ask them to sponsor you. All you need is a automotive related business name and address and $25. Once you are in, they send an automatic renewal every year via email. Membership in SEMA comes with it.

Better than Viagra.
That show would leave me with an erection that would last
for longer than four hours, between the bad a$$ cars and the
beautiful women, I'm not sure I could take that kind of excitement.
That would be an awesome event to go to.
Any more pics of the modern Trans Am?

I have a buddy that has worked for on of the major auto chain stores for about 20 years now. I would imagine he could get us hooked up. I may have to check into that one.
Between the girls and the cars you don't know where to look 1st.
You won't find a better "car show" anywhere compared to what's in attendence at SEMA. There is something for everyone. Look at the Corvettes alone. If you get bored with the cars there is always the girls to keep you entertained.

Riggs.
I always say there is more silicone there than rubber.
I haven't been in two years but it's definetly a must go to show if you can get in.
The AVN, CES, SEMA, some of the greatest displays of eye candy one can ever see. Living here in Vegas I never missed them in my youth. Haven't been going lately, but I may have to start going again. I should have gone this year just to get the chance to meet some of the forum members that were here in town for it.
