Ok... 81 car. I would like to mount an MSD 6AL under the hood of the car but where???????
I was looking at maybe where the under the hood light switch is located. Can anybody tell me where they put thiers? picture would be great.
I'm building a very nice car here... just finishing up the installation of corvette america's performance plus suspension system
and a pissed off small block in front of a 4spd. So any help?????

There's quite a few threads on the subject if you go searching with some really good photos to give you an idea.

Mine was mounted on the inner passenger wheel well above the washer reservoir - plenty of room, keeps it cool and I can reach under and change the limiter whenever I need to.

 

On my 73 I mounted it on the firewall under the master cylinder.
I sprayed it black and ran the wires with the vacuum lines.
Nobody has ever noticed it.
There is a flat spot on the firewall and I used the thick double sided tape.
It has been there for 4 years with no problems.
