alt light tapping morse code
Hey folks got an 81 and the alt light just started flashing on and off very fast with the sound of a relay? with it any ideas? the gauge shows a steady 13.5 to 14 volts and matches my volt/ohm meter,,,,,loose wire?

If you can find the relay that is clicking it will be very helpful to diagnose the issue. It could be a circuit that is going to ground or has excessive resistance. WHen the relay energizes it's demanding more current tha the alt can supply thereby causling the light to flicker on. The relay the drops out, the load goes away and all is well until it energizes again.
