lifters ??

If I developed a "skip" at all rpm's immediately after adjusting my hyd lifters.....have I most likely overtightened one of the rocker arms?

I did the #1 / #6 method rather than fight the oil spray with the engine running.

If by skip you mean miss, then yes, I'd say there's a good chance that you have one or more of them too tight.

Yes...a "miss" is more accurate.......Thanks.

I am pretty sure I know the very one that I overtightened!
