Default A-arm securing nuts

I am replacing the upper a-arm nuts that secure the arm/shaft to the frame. I know the size from the parts manual but my question is what type of nut should it be? The parts manual indicates a regular nut but the ones currently on the car are shaped like prevailing torque lock nuts. I want to make sure I replace them with the right components, as I don't want them coming off at the wrong time! I know they should be grade 8, but any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am hoping to get them replaced today. Thanks!

63-67 use a fine thread bolt with a standard nut and lock washer. 68 and up use a corse bolt with a locking/pinch nut.

Thanks for the quick reply! I realized I didn't mention my car was a 71. I will get the torque lock nuts for this application.

When the car is aligned and everything fine....I recommend putting some RTV black on the tops of the shims and onto the cross arm...so IF the bolt comes loose you don't drop all the shims out...they stay in place....
