Question: Rear spring removal
Put the vice grips on the second sping leaf. Put the jack directly on the vice grip and lift? I just want to make sure I am doing it right. Thanks for your input. Jack

make sure that the nut can be turned before you jack the spring. just in case the bolt has to be cut off.
place the vice grips (or c clamp) as far out on the spring as possible with it pushed against the next inward leaf. this is to prevent the jack from slipping up along the spring. place the jack on the spring, not the bolt or vice grip.
