Default brown 78

still on the fence about buying that brown 78 I asked about a few days ago, the whole car is there and it runs amazingly enough, it needs a restoration job. Any tips Im new to the C3 community I used to have a C4 but the price is almost to good to pass up.

I looked at your other post about the 78 you did not give any info describing the exact condition of the car if it has been garage kept or in someones driveway for years or how much they want for the car. Looks like your are from Homestead Fl. I used to live in Miami and I know how easy cars rust from the humidity so before you purchase the car check out the rust prone areas of our C-3's like the birdcage and floor pans

Check out the frame ( all of it) for any damage. Check brakes/rotors/leaks. Check all other hoses. Have you driven it? Does it stop/shift/miss? Does it pull to either side?

Check springs for any cracks or other damage. Check radiator/hoses for leaks.

Look at anything and everything. Good luck.
