Default Front tire clearance problem

I have done a body off restoration on this 69 Coupe. The body has been back on for several months and on a lift. I put it on a car hauler trailer two weeks ago for transport to the paint shop. I took it down there yesterday and when we rolled it off of the trailer, the front tires were rubbing on the back of the front fender wells when they were turned. These are the same tires and rims that were on the car when I started two years ago. The body ride height and clearance from tire to fender (forward-aft) looks normal. Does any one have any idea what may have happened? Most of front end parts are new(A-arms no)I have not done any alignment as of yet and I know it is way off. The tires that were on there are P2257015. Any help from someone who may have seen this before would be appreciated.

Maybe you cocked the body on the frame mounts, when you reinstalled it to frame. Or when you put it in a bind on lift, the bolts were not torqued to specs. Get a frame man to take a look, before doing any body work. Please let us know what you find. Have a great day. Gene

Is it possible that you had this problem before and didn't notice it because you never turned as sharp before starting the project? Your alignment might be way off?

I have a 79 that did the same thing kinda. The body wasn't removed(yet), but I pulled the engine and it sit for maybe 3 months while I was on other projects and waiting for the new engine. When installing the new engine turned to the left fine, but the drivers side would rub slightly in the rear of the well when turned to the right. Car had new brakes everything, new tires, and an alignment right before the engine swap.
Probably a whole different thing than what you have going on but???

Good luck,
Mark
