yoke u joint help

yoke u joint help
I have a 69 350 with a muncie 4speed.The tranny itself has a "thin or skinny" yoke.The Yoke has a tab on ea.side where the u-joint sits,
This tab should be on the outside of the u-joint bearing cap.
On the Rear end side,it is.On the trans.yoke side it is not.It rides on the side of the cap instead.
Now,I have a 75 ST10 and I tried the driveshaft in it's yoke (which is thick and stout) and it fits correctly.
Should I swap out the Muncie for the ST10 or do I have the wrong
Trans yoke in my muncie,and should I just replace it?
I have two drive shafts..both measure exactly the same.
