I have a 69 corvette rear of car sits a little high, i was told i could replace rear spring with a fiberglass spring, if so which lb spring would I need 315, 340, or 355? I would appreciate any information thanks.
Longer spring bolts will lower the rear of the car. What spring rate you want depends on what type of driving your doing. If your just a weekend cruiser, go with the softer spring. If your more performance minded than go stiffer.
Put a VBP 330 fiberglass with 8" bolts on my 70 which gives a nice height. Good for my Autocrossing and a decent street ride. It has actually settled a bit since this pic.

There are 8" and 10" bolts to bring the rear down, but you don't need to change the spring to get those results. If you are dissatisfied with the ride or think your spring is getting fatigued you might consider replacing the spring

One thing to remember ....if you are going to change the spring to a fiberglass design....due to your steel spring is shot or fatigued. The heat from your exhaust pipes can damage the integrity of the fiberglass spring. So heat wrap may be wise to install. I do on Corvettes that are being changed to the fiberglass design....that were originally steel design. But as like was earlier stated in the above posts, the spring bolts can correct your ride height....if that is your only concern.

Same information as the other members. If you are only trying to change the ride height, then go with longer bolts.
When you replace the bolts you need to support the spring so that it does not snap when you take the nut off. There is enough force on the spring to do serious damage to you, your car, etc.
Some people use a pair of vise grips near the end and then use a jack near the vise grips which acts as a stop to keep the jack from sliding off the spring.
This way you can relieve the spring tension and replace the bolt.
