Ratios for 4 speed
Just out of curiosity where on my Borg Warner can I find out what the gear ratios are? You know the W, C etc.. I've got it out but I can't seem to find any codes.

Tony, If you look for the code starting with W:
WC2052
W=Borg Warner
C=month built March
20=day built 20th
5=year built) 1975
2=close-ratio M21 unit) or it's a 1 if wide ratio

Thanks Ken thats what I was looking for. You wouldn't happen to know how I tell what 1st gear I have? It seems some had a 2.43 first, some a 2.63 and others a 2.88. I know mines a wide ratio and thats about it.
