69 Tripower accelerator cable
My original (?) cable broke and the replacement I installed is a little too long for one thing and it doesn't allow the linkage to open the throttle the whole way. No WOT ! I cut off some plastic to help a little but now the wire jacket is still preventing it from a complete opening.
Is there a certain cable I should've used for this set-up?

Is your rod that is bolted to the Accel pedal straight or bent.....should be straight.
