I have instructions on our site for the pinion seal if this is what you are talking about. http://willcoxcorvette.com/repairand...lp.php?hID=205

If not, and it's the rear wheel bearing seal or the outer yoke seals you tap them in with a seal driver.

I assume you have the spindle out of the car and you are trying to put this back together.

On the trailing arm, the outer wheel bearing seal taps in the housing and then your dust shield goes over it. The spindle and bearings should be shimmed to a correct end play between 2 to 8 thousandths. Once the clearance is know, you use the spindle installation too to pull the bearings, spacer and shims together.

I haven't done mine yet, but I'm in the process of getting them apart, and' I'll be doing this soon. Everything I've read says to pry the seal into place with a screwdriver once the spindle and bearings are assembled. This whole rear wheel bearing setup must have been designed by a committee.

Just finished doing mine and it all makes sense now. After greasing the bearings and pretty much filling the cavity in the spindle support with grease, insert the outer bearing and install the outer grease seal by tapping it into place with a seal driver or really large socket. Insert the spacer and shim from the inside, install the inner bearing, and the inner grease seal. Install the dust shield over the inner grease seal. Now insert the spindle and pull it through the bearings and seals using the puller tool shown above. (You need to install the hub on the spindle splines to make the puller work.) Once the spindle is pulled fully through the bearings, remove the puller and install the washer and nut. Torque to 100 ft. lbs. plus whatever it takes to line up the hole for the cotter pin. Reinstall the half shaft and you're done. Oh yeah. Its way easier if you install the parking brake shoes before you install the spindle. (Don't ask me how I know that.)
