Embarassing question-What part am I missing?
I notice that when my headlamps are in the "closed" position I can still see my headlights through the grill.Being a newbie I'm not sure if this is stock or not.I think there must be some type of headlamp shield missing.Am I right?Does anyone know the part #'s?I checked my AIM manual but I can't locate what's missing.
Thanks all.

Your really not missing much, there was however a rubber flap that hung down inbetween the grill and the headlamps on some early model C-3 corvettes. I'mnot sure of the model years. A assembly manual for your year corvette would show the exact part. Hope I was of some help.

You might be able to see the flaps in my signature picture. I'm looking for a part number/diagram for them. :smash:

You are missing the plastic headlamp shields. Dr. Rebuild item U or V under 68-82 Headlamp Housing heading:
