Default Headman or OBX Headers on a ZZ4?

I'm getting ready to purchase a new set of headers for my 77. It has a ZZ4 with a crappy old set of headers on it that won't stop leaking. I've got it narrowed down to the Headman 68308 and these I found on ebay- OBX
They are both about the same price, the major difference is the Headmans are ceramic coated steel and the OBX headers are polished stainless. The stainless headers should last forever but the ceramic coating should make it cooler under the hood. What do you think? Anybody ever use the OBX headers?

OBX is the walmart of the import world. they take other companies parts and copy them with just enough of a design difference that they dont get sued.

i bought a LSD from OBX for my 97 turbo eclipse. it cost me 800 bucks. the splines inside were not deep enough to get the axles seated fully.

fortunatly they took it back. i bought the Quaife model that OBX copied. it cost 1300 bucks but it slipped right in and worked beautifully.

i wouldnt buy valve stem capss from OBX after that fiasco.

I loved the Heddman's that I had on my SB and going the same route for my BB. Heddman makes a damn good header that is made in the USA with a lifetime warranty. Not to mention that Heddman has very well designed exhaust flange at the bottom that is basically leak proof! Definitely go with the Heddman!

Default good info,

thanks,
I learned something too

I want headers for my 80 vette, with a gm goodwrench crate engine, but since i have no welding cutting abilities in my tiny garage, I want headers that will fit coming right out of the box..

I guess those will be those headmans ... I hope

great forums
thanks
tony
