Brent glad to see you getting on with the LS bug. It works great when you get it all together running. One thing I learned about some of the motor mounts, they are not all the same. Some will have the motor about 1" too far forward, which is what I got when I first bought my motor mounts. I had to get them remade and then I was about a 1/4" short of my goal. It works fine but to have been perfect another .250 would have been great.

I bought the ones that put your trans into "original" position. The 4L60E will be in the same position as the 700r4 was, so I can just hook up my driveshaft and go.
So is there a better motor mount than others, like one that retains the oblong mount hole to the frame mounting bolt?
Oh yeah, I joined up at LS1tech and have an LS1-4L60E from Contemporary Corvette waiting for me at the ABF terminal
