Default Do '78's have reverse lights?

No lights come on when in reverse, and I can't even imaging where they would be because there's no clear / white covers anywhere. I see in the Eckler's catalog items that imply that other c3's do have reverse lights. Any thoughts?

Yep they do.

Someone probably converted your taillights to 4 red like was done to mine.

The inner 2 should have the reverse lights.

They should have backup lights.

Great, thank you for the fast response guys! So, there should be an inner clear circle in the red plastic where the backup lights should be?

Is there any point in having it changed back? Unless it's illegal to not have reverse lights, I'll probably just leave it alone.

Well they do help you see when you're backing up at night...

You can always add some reverse lights. Mine are LED driving lights from the ricer aisle at Autozone but they serve the function. They are wired into the stock circuit and are mounted to the bottom of the bumper. One of these days I'll get around to adding a Corvette logo.

Why? Afraid someone's going to mistake it for a Mustang?
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Very nice looking ride!!!

My 75 had the same thing done, 4 red lights.
1 day while looking under the back end, i saw the original light sockets just hanging there.
I did see on a auto LED site, they had put the super bright leds for backing up, on ether side of the license plate frame.
I like the 4 reds stop lights so I'm going that route for backup lights.

Hmm..I should check -- maybe mine are hanging there too! Perhaps the autozone method is the way to go, if necessary at all. I agree the 4 red lights look cool.

Thanks again everyone.
