Does any one know (or where) i can find the GM or Delco part number for the side yoke seals?
I placed an order with Ecklers, 2 weeks in i mailed them to see where it was, they said one of the parts was on back order and would be in on the 17th Dec, one month after i had placed the order, told everything was in stock, and, at the time to get to me before Christmas (as i have booked holiday to work on teh car) really p*ssed me off and to rub salt into the wound, the customer service people never email back when you complain !!!!
Anyway, anyone have the numbers as i can try and source locally?
Thanks Gary, i should have said in the first post, im in the UK hence looking for a part number we can relate to over here, xmas post will delay any imports from the states and i need to keep moving the project (and myself, its cold over here ).

Wev,
I found a spare seal for my 71' that I had labled "diff yoke". The National Seal (Federal Mogul) part number on the box is 472258 1.375"x2.000"x.312". I believe this is correct. As far as I know, GM used a standard size oil seal which you should be able to find in the UK. Good luck.
Thanks Wilcox, i guess with the size of them they could go air mail in a jiffy bag, wouldnt cost too much, then i can get the diff in and fit those weather strips i purchased from Ecklers (they were from Wilcox really )
I had to razz you a little. Shoot an email to sales and have them get you a cost on sending the international priority. I think there is a fixed charge for this as long as it will fit in a fixed size box! I don't think it is very expensive at all! Not sure I would worry about GM or National brand, we install them both in our shop and do not seem to have problems.
