Intermittant Wiper Control
I'd like to install an intermittant wiper control from a C3 in my 71. I think these were installed starting in 73. Can anyone offer suggestions on how to do this?

Intermittant wipers were first offered in 78, not 73. I don't know what it would take to retrofit your 71. The 78-82 system uses a completely different switch, mounted in a different location. The 78 up intermittant wipers use a controler with a circuit board in it. If I rememeber correctly, there are 2 designs used between 78 & 82. The switch is still available, but neither of the controllers are available any more.

Yes, pass on this project unless you go aftermarket.... The wiper switch will not fit in your dash pad, and then you'd have to deal with the controller and the wire harness next... This would be a very labor intensive project that can be avoided with an after-market controller.

Who needs Wipers on a Corvette????
Yes, pass on this project unless you go aftermarket.... The wiper switch will not fit in your dash pad, and then you'd have to deal with the controller and the wire harness next... This would be a very labor intensive project that can be avoided with an after-market controller.
