5.3l lsx

Will a '99 corvette engine harness plug up to a 5.3L LS engine, or do I need to get the original wiring?

Get the original wiring if possible or buy an aftermarket harness that is made for the ECU that you are using. The 5.3 was not used in a Corvette so there are most likely differences in pinouts and maybe the ECU itself. I have a 2001 Camaro ECU and it is not the same (physically or wiring) as the older Camaro.
