I was over on the "Pro-Touring" forum and found a very nice 77 from
"Twin Turbo". I remember a TT who was building a 1200hp Vette on this forum, I don't think it is the same car.
This car is blue w/flares. Does anyone know this car or the owner?
I would like to discuss some of his mods.
I have always thought that a Vette would make the ultimate Pro-Tourer.
TSW: I'm sorry, TT was some other Insane car. After a while, it all becomes a blur. lol
I found my style when the first Pro Tour Camero was built. Before that there were GT cars, but they were nothing like that. I'm trying to follow that w/my 74. Solid engineering is never a bad thing!
I don't know why more C3s haven't been PTd? Seems like we are half way there. It is tough for Camero to get the weight f/r that we do.

I think I know what you're saying, but it's possible that the popular auto-enthusiast media just doesn't have their radar set for C3 G-machinces/PT's (I'm sure there are more than a few around), as the fact is many more Camaros and Chevelles were built and they need much more work (IMHO) to handle than do our cars likely has a good deal to do with where that attention is focused (read, "fatter cash cow").

TSW: It would be nice if VB&P sponsored a PT event for Vettes.
They could use Laguna Secca and the surrounding area for testing.
I think this is a great idea and they need to get going!lol
Of course prizes will need to be awarded.
