Default TH400 Tranny ID Help

I'm trying to ID my tranny. I cannot find a serial number, but I do have an ID tag attached to the passenger side just above the vacuum modulator. The number scheme is:

1st line: 70 CB 1992

2nd Line: 203

Anyone know how to decifer this? I think the 70 is the model year, and the CB is for big block engine. Don't know about the rest. My car is a 1972, 350 hp coupe. Obviously the tranny (and engine) have been swapped but I'd like to know about the tranny.

Hello Jim
The serial number should be on the driver side just above the pan.

Scott,
I have looked and looked and cannot find it. The manuals say there is a machined area where the number is stamped, but I can't find it. Define just above the pan. Is it supposed to be on the tranny pan lip? Is it near the shifter shaft? Near the kickdown connector? Near the front of the tranny or rear? Is it possible some trannys were stamped differently? I've used a mirror, sprayed cleaner and wiped everywhere but just don't see it. I'm old and can't half see but I'll keep looking. It is tough lying on the garage floor.
Thanks,
