Default painting the intake manifold

I am thinking of painting my intake manifold. I have the original 300 horse 350 (warmed up a little). However, I do not know if the manifold is orginal. I recently determined it was a GM dual plane (I originally thought it was a single plane because of its height). I purchased some POR engine enamel (chevy orange). I am thinking of doing the intake along with the block. Aluminum manifold just seem to get a little dingy, and you can't really bring em back. What do you guys think. Will the manifold in chevy orange look like hammered hell?????

Base model C3 engines came from the factory with the intake painted Chevy engine orange, so it will look fine (better with aluminum or chrome valve covers).

I wanted near-factory appearance on my '79 L-48, so I painted my Holley aluminum intake. It looks factory at first glance, and I don't have to worry about it getting stained. I love it.

I still have the original on mine and looks fine, do admit after 30 years though it could do with a new coat of paint.
