I am in the middle of a frame off restoration. I am getting pretty close to start considering the interior. It is black now, but I like the saddle interior. I am going to paint the exterior a real dark wine/burgundy with a tan top. Any opinions on this.
Thanks,
Steve
The light saddle or doe skin would be very pretty. I spent much time debating before I changed mine from stock to a much lighter color. But I am very pleased now that the choice has been made. Making up my mind was the hardest part!

Saddle carpet harder to keep looking clean than black.
Oh Yeah... try Smoke Grey
I think your color combo will be beautiful. I've seen the burgandy and saddle combo, it's GRRRREAT! (said in a Tony The Tiger voice)
After seeing some of the two-tone interiors on a thread a while back that look great I would consider tan seats/door panels with a dark brown or dark wine carpet. I think that would look awesome with a burgundy exterior.
You guys make the decision alot easier now that I have some of your opinions. It's good to know some of you agree and I am not way out in the wild blue yonder on this!!! :U
I am going the complete opposite. From a saddle interior to a black. My paint is going to be International Blue with a white top...didn't think it would look too cool with saddle interior...I may be wrong but I have a couple of years to ponder it. :jester

I think Saddle would look great with Burgundy. Saddle was one of my choices when considering a switch from now black interior. I am on my way now to a black/red interior. I just got red Al Knock door panels delivered last week.
topless 68,
Too bad you are going to ponder it for two years, I was going to hit you up on some saddle interior parts! :jester  Maybe I can help you out in a couple of years!
