I know this has been beat to death, but bare with me.....
I have a crate zz4 350/410hp GM motor with only hours on it as this has been a 4 year project.....so cranking it and not driving it has fouled out the plugs, AC mr43lts....
looking at plugs and there are many choices, but can't narrow my search to the zz4......please help.
It will be awhile before it is on the road, so need something more practical than preformance, as I still only start and idle......
Mine sits for awhile too and was fouling plugs fairly often. I installed a set of Champion copper plugs and they have lasted and fire right up now for some time. Even the platinum plugs were fouling out. Good luck.
Thx Marz....got a set today....I'll see how they do.
Jw
No problem. The E3 plugs I tried too, but they fouled out too. They are expensive too. Good luck. My motor is a 350 with 400HP I got from Carolina Machine Engines. It runs and sounds great.
Marz,
I was thinking that more money meant the e3s had to be better,,,,,,,
I just installed the Borguson steering box, and with that and headers, that 1st plug is a bitch to get to.......hope I don't have to change these things often.....
I had read so much about them I tried the E3 plugs. Now, I will say I did put them in my 94 Trans Am and they are still going a year later. But, it is driven daily. Can you get to the plug from underneath? I have a set of Hooker Super Comps and have to get to the back plugs from underneath. Hopefully those plugs will not foul out.
