Alloy wheels for c3????
I have finally settled on a set of wheels for my vette. The retailer told me they fit?? Has any forum member these wheels on their C3?? The wheels are Ridler 17 x 8 (Part No. 655-7861P). They have a four(4) inch backspace.

If you like the wheels and the retailer said they would fit get him to put that in writing that if they don't fit you get your money back, simple put the trial and error on him

You really can't be sure, sometimes a spoke or part of the wheel will hit the calipers, ask me how I know. Only way to know for sure is to fit them on, with tires if possible

This could present a proplem and if your buying new wheels you don't want to have to add spacers to clear spokes. Motorhead was correct; ask for fit in writing.
