Default carb questions again

Just got a "remanufactured" carburator put on my carb and had a couple questions.

First , This carb seems to have only 1 vacuum connection spot on the front of the carb. The one I had before had 2 and the old 68 carb I have also had 2.
The one that is missing on the current carb is where my car had the vacuum advance on the distributor connected to it.
Can the vacuum advance be connected to any location on the carb or even the intake? I happen to have a 3 way piece sticking up on the intake with one branch of it blocked off by the former owner.

The other question. Do I need to add any teflon tape or anything on the threads for where the fuel line enters the factory style fuel filter or where it enters the carb?

thanks for any help

This thread should answer your advance questions.

No, you should not need teflon tape or anything on the fuel line threads.
