I need to rebuild my differential and to set up the wheel bearings in my 79 and I am looking for a good rebuilder in Southern California that has experience with corvettes... Can anybody recomend me a shop that has been used by any forum member... Thank you in advance.

prices will massively differ depending on what you want.. the pumpkin setup/rebuild and trailing arm rebuild are the main skills needed.. but you have to drop spare tire, drop exhaust, drop rear suspension totally, sandblast/paint/powdercoat the rear to make it look pretty, put it all back together, rear allignment.. while you are at it, new brake hoses, new Ujoints, bleed brakes, might need new side yokes, heavy duty differential cover, crossmember bushings, parking brake shoes and hardware... old exhaust might have to be cut out, requireing a new exhaust.. if you do all the work yourself and just drop off the pieces for rebuild, then maybe 1000$, 3-4000 if you let a shop do it all..

Thank You guys for the advise.. I got everything but the differential and the bearings figured out. And for what I see I think I will have to outsource both. Thanks again....
