79 Corvette Brake Light Issues
Someone told me my driver's side brake light was out so I checked the fuses and they were good. Then I replaced the bulb and the brake light still wouldn't come on. So I decided to remove the bulb and put a test light to each connector on the socket. When I did that, every connector was working. The ground was dead and the two power connectors had power so it should be working. What should I do? Do I need a new socket?

It's the right bulb and the turn signals work too. I got to messing with it some more and it would work about half the time, so I guess it's the socket because I've tried it with 2 different bulbs and got the same result. The connection must be bad in there or something.

A dark green wire brings power to the right brake and turn signal, that seems to be good, check the black ground wire to the frame, it may just need to be cleaned and re connected.
