My 75' does not have a factory rear sway bar and I would like to put one on. If anyone has any pictures of theirs, I would appreciate it, or can explain the set up, that would be great. I am assuming that the holes for the mounts are in the frame and rear control arms already. Any advise is appreciated!
This has been discussed numerous times so do a search and read up before doing this.
For normal street driving, you probably don't need one so Zora left it off.
If you want to do more spirited driving, it is very important to properly match the rear bar with the front. Using a rear bar that is too large will introduce serious and dangerous oversteer.Be Careful.
Purchase the '75 assembly instruction manual (AIM) and take a look at the factory FE7 installation of the optional rear bar. You can get some of the parts from the aftermarket providers and the rest of it off ebay.
Thanks guys. I am looking for a bar set up. I will be purchasing aftermarket front and rear bars so they will be set up correctly, but I know you need the brackets to mount to the rear bars.
I purchased a front/rear aftermarket kit from VanSteel and it included all necessary brackets and hardware; just tell them what you are needing and they'll make sure you have what you need. Installation was pretty straight forward. As other have suggested, be sure to do an advanced search on the subject -- there has been much discussion here to help you make an informed decision.
