Default Update on squeak and tire lean

Had a squeaking noise from the rear that went away before I could find it.
And my rear pass. tire was leaning in.

Bad u-joint on the pass side half shaft.

That may well have been your squeaker to but I am trying to picture how the u-joint made your wheel lean? I have only been around the rear end of my car long enough to install brake lines and mount new tires and wheels.

The half shaft supports the spindle/rear end of trailing arm to some degree. If you (god forbid) had a u-joint break the wheel would fold inward. I never had that happed but it would suck!
Hope this helps...

Ok I see, I guess next time I look under there it will be clear, I was thinking the only forces on the u-joints was to turn the wheels. I'll be under there soon to try some longer bolts to get a little lower... I learn something every time I open this page, Thanks
