69 Vac Question
When I start my engine on my 69, the both headlights and the wiper door open. Just got it back from the paint shop and all was working properly before. Based on a vac hose schematic that I was looking at, it appears all is correct. Of coarse I could be misreading it. Does it sound like something is not hooked up correctly or is there something else that would cause both headlights and wiper door to open at start up?

First make sure the hoses under the dash below the steering column are hooked up tightly to the override switches.
If they are, you may have a leak in one or two of the switches - I had the same thing recently. You should be able to hear air leaking from behind the dash underneath the column. I replaced two of the override switches and everything works fine now.
