82 crossfire engine question (continued)
THanks for all the feedback on my previous question.. Clutchdust, you told me exactly what i wanted to hear! My target for the engine would be around 350 hp naturally asperated, which leeds to my next question... can the l-83 be supercharged or turbocharged safely? My target HP for this car was 450 500 hp supercharged...originally i was thinking this would have been impossible for the l-83 and was looking for an alternate power plant ( 454 ), but after reading your posts and looking in the jeggs catalog, i gestimate that i could have this car in the high 300 hp range naturally asperated for under 3 grand ( assuming i do all the work) thats all i need for now, the superchrger/turbo mod will be a project for mid 2005...I wold like any recomendations you would have for me..pistons, headers,cams you name it..thanks again for all the help! :cheers:

You are so far from the 400 HP level that it is hard to explain.
