Do you have a copy of the AIM? There is a diagram of basically how everything in the console goes on page #421. Maybe someone can scan it and post it I dont have a scanner.
I have about 700 pictures of the tear down and rebuild of my 77. For the interior probably about 250-300. If you need or want anything specific let me know and I'll be glad to post what I have.
Hope these help some.

Yea that was an old picture. Looks much better now
One sweet ride for sure. Your pictures and your efforts have inspired me. So when you going to make the plunge and jump in with me to rebuild a bumper car????? Come on, the water is perfect.
I start putting her back together in about a week. Been having a ball.
I highly recommend the Willcox AIM. I have the 77, the 71 and the 74 (long story) and I can recommend them, they are great.
It is the best $30 you will ever spend on your car, or maybe they will cut you a Forum deal...go for it.

Last year I found a great deal on a 71 numbers matching ontario orange but I had no place to put it so A close friend of mine bought it and we have been working on it kind of together so in theory I have jumped into a bumper vette just dont own it. Maybe somewhere down the road I will run across another and be able to get my wife to give up her half of the garage for my toys.
I am looking at a possible '77 project car. where do you find all the parts. Might be a dumb queation, but I am new to the rebuild business.
Also, would you think about putting in a 4-speed tranny (if you had it to do over again) in place of the automatic?

When I did mine I put a GM Performance Crate Engine, 350HO, 330HP, Steeriods Rack and Pinion, Hydraboost, Tremec TKO500 Five Speed, Hooker Competition Headers and Side Pipes, new Rear end, and a few other goodies. She looks stock, but she really runs a little stronger than stock now...Or she soon will anyway.
