Actually the bones of that car are pretty good. Its a concept and shapes are amplified, kind of like the fugly Mako Shark II concept back in the 60s, which was also too over the top.
The front and rear need more development to tone them down and be more sporty, less batman, and a few lines should be tweeked, but look at the low roofline, high fenders and large air scoop at the side of the car.
it is what it is (a modern corvette concept) so it will never be a C2 or C3...
that said, it has some nice lines, tough a bit too angular in parts. and, i'm not digging the "slit" headlights. maybe some round lights would make it look better (and give it a more shark look).
...still excitedly anticipating the unveiling of the C7...
I like the looks of it from the side view only.. I do like the retro efforts of the car makers though. I just wish somebody would really go for it and reproduce a car that looks as close as possible to the original with all the modern technologies under the skin..
just plain ugly. the c3repo is nice looking. ford and dodge both did an excellent job on their retro cars. the new camara has an ugly frontend and interior. the side and rear look ok.
it's hard to tell the new viper from a new corvette these days.
That is the car from Transformer movie, you can tell by the exhaust tips. The real GM concept has rectangular tips. The rear window problem the '63 had is taken care of with rearview camara in concept car. I love the concept car because it reminds me of a C3. The movie car was built using panels furnished from GM, i believe it was a C4 car they put it on.
This is what the next vette should look like I would have to buy this one and i cant afford it,
A thin chrome bumper like this one, would look beautiful ,Just think how a l88 hood would look on this car.Look at my avatar pic and the car, they both look alike, same lines.

I didnt like it based upon the photos. But I have to say that in person, it is an entirely different feel. I saw it at the Phila Car Show last nite. and it was pretty impressive.
