I suppose it was to much to ask my starter to hang in there a little longer. With the fuel flow issues I was having. And cranking over the engine as much as Ive been doing lately.
I think I killed my starter. I have power to the starter for sure as witnessed by the sparks off my screwdriver. And I have power everywhere else. Battery is fully charged. But she wont turn over. Anything else I should check before crawling under and pulling it out?
Oh...its a 1980 w/L82.

are you hearing a clicking sound? if not the solenoid is not working or the wiring is dirty.
Don`t hear a thing. The engine was cranking over very slowly, so I charged the battery for a few days. Now when I turn the key, I hear my fuel pump kick in but nothing else. In the cars I`ve had, the starter generally give you some notice before complete failure. The solenoid is attached to the starter is it not?

Could be sticking... smack the solenoid/starter with something a few times and crank crank the engine. If it works then replace the starter soon. I did that on my vette/monte carlo for a little while... broom, stick, hammer, wrench... what ever I had lol
