Steering box

I'm looking for the best place to buy a rebuilt steering box for my '74
Is Van Steel a good source for this?

Timely topic. I just ordered a rebiild kit for mine. All of the major parts resellers have rebuilt or completely new steering boxes. Prices do varry so check around. Rock auto also has them. I wonder how much of the vaugness people complain about with corvette steering is due to worn parts. Ditch the old box and stick on a new system and yeah, it'll be tighter and more responsive. I'm not saying it would be as good as R/P steering or the jeep box.

I'd love to go the Jeep box route. Something I might consider in the future.

Van Steel is a vendor and has been around for quite some time.
