I am getting ready to repaint my 81 and I am torn between the original charcoal or corvette red. What do you think about charcoal??? Does it look good or is it just ok???

I like it, if you see what I mean (sig.). You might not like the fading that goes with it.
I'm trying to decide what color, if I decide to stay the same. :confused:

it should be what YOU want,our suggestions are fine but it really matters what your first gut choice would be.good luck in what ever you choose,but i like charcoal myself.or maybe even a newer color platinum.

I found this car in Raliegh NC a couple of years ago and it is in perfect condition but the paint has aged and faded. The charcoal has grown on me now but I have always liked red. I am torn, one day it is going to be charcoal and the next it is going to be red. I just can not make a decision.

Go with both, paint it Charcoal and get some red stripes down it or some neat design happening :) Im really loving that electron blue though! wow! i can't keep my eyes off of it! :eek: :eek:

There a lot of red vetts out there that look great, but that's just it there are a lot of them. So if you want somthing different co with the Charcoal.
It also depends on the interior I am a firm beliver that they must complement eachother.
