Default hydroboost unit choices

Gathering parts for a hydroboost conversion.

I see GM units listed from 96 - 02 to have the same part number and pre-96 seem to be the same as a group

Anyone aware if the earlier 90s versions work for our cars as well as the later versions (mounts, fittings, etc)

Any other differences other than cost.

Thanks

Thanks

Did you have to cut and thread the rod or was it adjustable?

BTW... how's the snow... we just got a dusting in Denville

Another thing I have been wanting to do to my vette. I will be watching this thread with interest. I found a local yard last fall that has several Astro vans in it with Hydroboost units in them. I asked about prices on the units and they were very reasonable. My son and I may take a little trip back this spring and pick us up a unit.

Yes I had to modify the pushrod. You have to cut it. Then thread the end to fit the clevis.

Snow? They really played this one up big for nothing.Other than to get you out to the stores to buy stuff. Maybe 4 inches

My Hydroboost is from a '96 or '97 (?) Chevy 3/4 pickup. I did not have to modify the rod because one of our sons is a machinist, and he made a custom plate to make the Hydroboost fit without modifying the rod.
