T350 oil amount
I changed the gasket and filter how much goes back? The book says 10 quarts....that has got to include the converter....but in reality since I only drained the tranny with the pan, where should I start? Thanks

What I do is measure what I removed and if level was correct prior to changing, replace with same amount. Yes 10qt. is for a dry converter. You probably drained between 2-3qt.. I over filled my th400 one time and learned my lesson. Final level ck. is of course with warm trans., car level, engine running, in park. mds...
