Default Unattached Door Skin

I am just finishing bodywork on my C3 and I ran across the door skin on the bottom corner is pulling away. I looks like the skin fits over the metal part of the door.. I almost seems line the metal part of the door slide into the fiberglass "U" shaped reciever on the edges. From the corner out in both directions for about 2 inches the "U" reciever fiberglass part that hold onto the metal if gone or broken. This skin looks very thin here so grinding down and new glass added looks to be a problem. How do I repair?

Correct. C3 doors are stamped steel shells with an outer fiberglass door skin.

Clean the area as much as possible and rebond the skin where it has come loose.

Jack, I found out the hard way that rust is a big problem at the bottom of the C3 doors. Worth the effort to clean up, neutralize, and seal as much metal as you can before reattaching the skin. Bill
