Has any one had any dealings with this company the price for their aluminum heads are a lot cheaper than all the others I've looked at and am a believer in you get what you pay for. Don't want to mess with junk, my time is worth to much to waste. Seen a post on the net about a intake some one had spent time and money to make it work don't want to deal with that.

Default Beware of cheap Chinese heads?

Having said that there are some very good Foundries in China, and our major US car manufactureres are using chinese cast heads. Patriot Heads has a product that I have not seen a single real complaint about and they are cast at the same foundry. I was a tough sell, but I finally purchased that set of heads and so far so good. There are also some very bad heads out there that are made in China with a multitude of problems. I have heard very bad things about procomp (procomp electronics) heads, but search the forums for procomp and you can decide for yourself. If they don't say who the vendor is, then I would advise you to stay away.

I have purchased from KMJ before as well- a set of "fabricated valve covers". These were the crudest worst quality valve covers I had ever seen. The rails looked like it had been cut with a hacksaw and looked nothing like the picture. They were also excessively heavy.. I had to fight to get a refund, but finally got it from the Paypal..

KMJ sells Procomp heads which are made in China. I have heard bad and some good on the heads but me personally, I would not buy them. I've bought an Procomp intake from KMJ and it was JUNK, had to send back and fight for refund. Since then I don't deal with KMJ or Procomp.

I think that Patriot heads would be the best bang for your buck. I haven't heard many bad things about them, except that the ports aren't perfectly square, but you can fix that or leave them as they are.

Buying Pro Comp heads is kind of like contracting VD.
It feels great until you realize what you got.
